Black and white

Colour is oozing away

slowly, almost invisible

an image on an old photo

the red lesser red

the blew becomes lighter

with the years even more                                                              

the grey draws in                                                                               

sallow and blurred

a bit less shiny

just not yet evening

time, the blotting paper

is sucking out the paint

out of the palette

in the absence of sight

I dye the words

in black and white.
