Kleurstudie: Flora & Fauna

Had heimwee naar de kleurdoos en het gebruik van vele kleuren. Een bloem, een vogel, een vlinder: de kleuren in de natuur zijn uniek. Ikzelf heb niet het materiaal en waarschijnlijk ook niet de kunde om deze natuurgetrouw op een tekenpapier over te brengen. Toch heb ik mij een aantal uurtjes aangenaam kunnen uitleven in deze vrije tekening en het inkleuren ervan. Het kind in mij is dan toch noch niet dood!

I got a nostalgic feeling for the box of color pencils and the use of many colors. A flower, a bird, a butterfly: in nature the colors are unique. I don't have the material and probably also not the skills to put them as they are on the drawing paper. Still, I've spent a couple of fine hours on this free drawing and coloring it. The child in me is not yet dead!
