Peacock
Self-assured and o so vain
beak away from me
he gives me the eye
with a neck so stiff as a stick
the feathers dragging
on his footsteps
as a wedding dress
he strides away and closer
to measure him a crown
with pontifical cries
as a wide range
woven with colours.
